Winning Moves was founded in 1997 by four highly respected professionals in the games industry, who between them have over 100 years of experience.
Tom Kremer: Europe's most successful game agent. Tom's greatest claim to fame is having found and licensed the Rubik's Cube® from behind the "Iron Curtain." Tom is also a highly talented games creator.
Alex Randolph: Europe's most distinguished games inventor who, sadly, died in February 2004.
Mike Meyers: The long-time head of research and development for Milton Bradley, one of America’s best-known games brands.
Phil E. Orbanes: The long-time head of research and development for another of America’s great games brands, Parker Brothers. Phil is the world’s leading expert on the game Monopoly®, as well as author of several books and creator of best-selling games.
In the United Kingdom, Winning Moves was set up in 1998 in Paddington, London and is now one of the leading players in the UK games market.
Tom Liddell is the managing director of WMUK and also the Top Trumps Global Guardian. Having been a games inventor with his own business, he joined Winning Moves at its birth in the UK. With a Game of the Year award under his belt for Top Trumps in 2002, and inclusion in the exclusive Cool Brand Leaders 2005, his experience is in making 'must-have' products.
WMUK's objective is to be the UK's leading innovator of games product with games such as The Da Vinci Code and Sudoku, and to make Top Trumps a global brand, both in the physical and digital worlds.
Winning Moves, as a group of companies, seeks to deliver enduring, entertaining and engaging games for generations to come. |
